Duties and Responsibilities of New Hampshire Teachers of Mathematics: Webmaster

 

Ongoing

Attend four regularly scheduled board meetings throughout the school year, Spring conference, and summer retreat.

Maintain the NHTM website with all information about NHTM including but not limited to membership, conferences, workshops, scholarships, math contests, NCTM and ATMNE information

Interface with web design company for access to website (upload/input articles, forms, etc.)

Inform Treasurer  of amounts and dates when payments on domain name, website and web programs are due.  Bring information to summer retreat as budget for each year is prepared if increases need to be accommodated.

Work with Publicity Representative to keep current on PD activities.

Send NHTM announcements, ATMNE newsletters, and other information in email blasts to membership.



Summer

Attend full day or day and a half summer retreat for board members to discuss and plan activities for the coming year.

September

Set up online program information for Autumn PD, NCTM webinars, ATMNE Fall Conference

Coordinate membership information with Membership Chair and Treasurer

October & November

December

January

Coordinate with Nominations Committee to set up electronic ballot for NHTM Board Member elections - publish biographies, send out e-mail message (from Past/President-Elect - Chair for Nominations)

February

Set up online program information for the Spring conference.

March

Work with Nominations Committee to verify Election results before being announced at Spring Annual meeting of Membership

April

Identify NHTM Award winners on Home page, update and link to related web pages. 

Update NH State Math Contest results on web pages

May

Work with Professional Development Committee to set up Needs Assessment Survey that will be distributed to nomination (currently via Survey monkey [2015]). Update board member names and set up email for new board members.
